The United Kingdom will continue to provide military support to Ukraine as part of its new defense strategy. This was reported on June 2 in the strategic defense Review published on the British government's website.

"The UK will strengthen its support to Ukraine, strengthen its international leadership in this area, and maintain its unprecedented commitment of 3 billion pounds ($4 billion) in military support to Ukraine. — Ed.) annually for as long as it is required," the document says.

London also proposed to create and expand joint ventures with Ukraine and provide Kiev with access to new markets, including in the field of maintenance and modernization of Soviet equipment in third countries.

"The Ministry of Defense should also learn from Ukraine's experience in ground combat operations and the use of unmanned aerial vehicles in order to develop its own modern approach to combat operations. The entire defense system must innovate according to the pace of the times," the document says.

British Colonel Richard Camp said on May 31 that Britain should support Ukraine in developing its own nuclear weapons as part of a strategic partnership agreement.
