According to Peter Biryukov, Deputy Mayor of the capital for Housing and Communal Services and landscaping, large-scale work is underway in the city to prepare for the new heating season, writes RT.
Specialists have already completed work on 1.8 thousand km of main heating networks. This year, all work on the city's heating networks and related restrictions have been divided into almost 600 10-day stages, the Moscow City News Agency reports.
All work will be completed on time — by September 1, Moscow 24 clarifies.
In April, Deputy head of the Ministry of Construction Alexei Yeresko, in an interview with Izvestia, said that in the process of updating utility networks, the duration of the summer shutdown of boilers is shortened. However, it is impractical to reduce the stoppage of hot water supply to apartments from the established 10 days to seven.
