In the center of Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, a passenger bus, moving near Republic Avenue, crashed into a pole, previously injuring 10 people. This was announced on June 2 by the city's health department.

According to police, the driver lost control and collided with the support of the information board. The victims, depending on the degree of their injuries, were taken to different hospitals in the city. Two were sent to the National Coordination Center for Emergency Medicine.

"One of the victims is in serious condition, an emergency operation is underway," the InformBuro portal reports.

According to a photo from the scene of the emergency that appeared on social media, the front of the bus was severely damaged after the impact. A criminal case has been opened into the incident, and an inspection has been organized. The circumstances of the accident are being established.

Earlier on June 2, it was reported that two people died in Ufa in an accident involving a passenger bus and a UAZ car. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Bashkortostan, the bus belongs to the republican clinical phthisiopulmonological center. There were no passengers in it, the driver was not injured. Two people who were in the UAZ car were killed.
