The children's drawing contest "The Heritage of my District" has ended in Moscow. The authors of the best works have depicted iconic objects of the capital, including Izmailovo Manor, Yuzhnoye Butovo landscape Park, Ochakovo Railway Station, Olonetsky Passage Square, Danilovsky Market and other notable urban spaces. This was announced by Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.

"This year, the participants sent over 4,500 works dedicated to their favorite parks, embankments, streets and buildings of the capital. More than 150 children became laureates," Natalia Sergunina said.

The drawings were evaluated by a jury consisting of professional artists, architects, teachers, local historians and cultural figures. The winners were determined in eight nominations. Some of them were dedicated to memorable dates — the 185th anniversary of the birth of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and the 90th anniversary of the Moscow Metro. Additionally, the results of the voting conducted in the Active Citizen project and for a wide audience in the online space were summed up.

The competition was held in two age categories: from 7 to 11 years old and from 12 to 15 years old. Each included two directions — "Amateurs" and "Professionals".

The works of the winners of the city stage and the winners of special nominations will be presented at a street exhibition on Nikitsky Boulevard. An exhibition of the best drawings of the district stage will be placed in the Severnoye Tushino Park.
