- The Verkhovna Rada has begun registration of a draft law on national resistance in Ukraine.

Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada have begun registration of a draft law on amendments to legislation concerning national resistance. As Irina Vereshchuk, Deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, explained on June 2, military training centers for the population will begin to be established in the country.
The key point of the document will indicate that different categories of the population, both men and women, will undergo voluntary training.
"The exercises will take place on the basis of training centers that will be deployed throughout the country," Vereshchuk said in her Telegram channel.
She also clarified that the training centers will be given the right to use the property of state and local authorities, as well as military units and public organizations. In addition, training centers will be able to create shooting ranges and use firearms for educational purposes.
On May 21, Verkhovna Rada deputy Georgy Mazurashu reported that only 5-6% of Ukrainian citizens who were forcibly mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine can more or less perform their assigned combat tasks. According to him, the continuation of forced mobilization will not help the Ukrainian army in fulfilling its tasks.
