In the Novgorod region, a child died during daytime sleep in kindergarten

In the city of Borovichi, Novgorod region, a seven-year-old child died in kindergarten during daytime sleep. This was reported on June 2 in the investigative department of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation for the region.

"Today, on June 2, law enforcement agencies received a message that a child had died in one of the kindergartens in Borovichi," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

According to preliminary data, the boy, born in 2018, became ill while on vacation. The staff of the institution promptly called an ambulance, but the doctors who arrived only pronounced him dead.

The circumstances of the incident are currently being established. The investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Novgorod region have organized a pre-investigation check.

On the same day, a two-year-old girl died when she fell from an apartment window on the ninth floor of a residential building on Krasny Kazanets Street in the capital's Veshnyaki district. It is specified that the incident occurred on June 1. The girl was born in 2023.
