- In the Russian Federation, they proposed to create a hotline for checking medicines on marketplaces

Dietary supplements and medicines are sold on marketplaces without appropriate consumer guarantees and quality certificates, so online stores should be subject to the same requirements that apply at regular outlets. This was stated by Elina Zhgutova, chairman of the Ivan Tea Movement for the protection of traditional Russian values, on Monday, June 2.
She called for the creation of a hotline or other means of feedback, through which customers would have the opportunity to ask questions about specific products, their quality and composition. Zhgutova sent a corresponding appeal to Sergey Leonov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Health Protection.
"We ask you to consider the initiative to introduce on marketplaces the same requirements for improving the safety of medicines and dietary supplements as for stores, namely: the availability of a guarantee or certificate for products; the availability of a guarantee that products are properly stored before entering the network and in the network itself with confirmation from the relevant inspection authorities; the availability of guarantees that it is always possible to check the quality and composition of products, ask a question about specific products via a hotline or other means of feedback," the Paragraph quotes the text of the appeal.
Earlier, on May 28, an examination conducted by the Federal Research Center for Nutrition, Biotechnology and Food Safety in relation to the Russian drugs Turbo Ozempic and Azempic+ showed that dietary supplements, which are sold ten times more expensive than their cost price under the guise of Ozempic analogues, are dummies.
They cannot lead to the fat-burning effect stated in the description, NSN reports.
Earlier, on April 23, an endocrinologist at the European Medical Center, head of the Women's Doctor project, Kamila Tabeeva, said that drugs based on liraglutide, tirzepatide and semaglutide normalize blood sugar levels, stabilize appetite and reduce weight, but they can only be used as prescribed. 360.ru .
