Olga Rubleva, an expert at the analytical center of the University of Synergy, a doctor, told whether she could be given sick leave due to allergies.

In conversation with the agency RuNews24.Ru On Monday, June 2, the specialist explained that allergic reactions that occur when the body comes into contact with various allergens can be of varying severity: from a mild runny nose to anaphylactic shock. According to her, in any case, you should consult a doctor. The specialist will prescribe the necessary medications, diet, and regimen.

"If the patient has severe allergic reactions, the doctor can issue a disability certificate (sick leave)," Rubleva said.

She attributed severe allergy symptoms to a runny nose, stuffy nose, watery eyes, swelling of the lips, face, and eye area, shortness of breath, difficulty swallowing, and hoarseness of voice. That is, if the allergy symptoms are severe and interfere with the performance of work tasks, then you can count on receiving sick leave.

On May 30, Mikhail Vorobyov, a biologist and agronomist, told the Moscow City News agency that cereal grasses that provoke allergies will bloom in the Moscow region in June. People with allergies should carefully walk through meadows and fields and take the necessary medications to avoid symptoms.

On May 27, a "poplar fluff blizzard" was predicted in Moscow and the region in the coming days. Fluff is especially dangerous for allergy sufferers and will cause them to have new attacks, NSN notes.

On May 26, Nadezhda Logina, an allergist and immunologist, told how to alleviate the condition of allergy to flowering. Taking medications will help in this — it can be nasal sprays, antihistamines and other antiallergic agents.
