- Medinsky announced that Kiev had provided a list of 339 names of the children for their return.

During the talks in Istanbul, Russia discussed the topic of children with Ukraine. This was announced by the head of the Russian delegation, Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Medinsky.
Medinsky showed a list of 339 surnames of children transmitted by Ukraine.
"Children who find themselves caught between two fires as a result of a difficult situation have been evacuated, but if their parents or even relatives are present, they are returned and reunited with their families," the head of the Russian delegation said.
He added that the Russian side has recently returned 101 children, while the Ukrainian side has returned only 22.
According to Medinsky, the Russian military behaves towards children as responsibly as the Soviet soldiers behaved in Berlin. He also added that Ukraine had made a "show for compassionate Europeans" out of this topic.
"Every child will definitely find their parents. All the families will be reunited on both sides. We are working on it. It's a matter of honor," Medinsky concluded.
The second round of talks between Russia and Ukraine in Istanbul ended earlier in the day. According to a source in Izvestia, they lasted more than an hour and were broadcast in Russian. According to the source, during the meeting the sides discussed in detail possible prisoner exchanges.
The Russian delegation included Medinsky, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin, Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Igor Kostyukov, and Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin. The Kiev negotiating group is headed by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov, and its composition has been expanded to 14 people.
