In Podolsk, the construction of an extension to school No. 29 named after Peter Ivanovich Zabrodin continues. The facility's readiness has exceeded 50%, the press service of the district administration reported on Monday, June 2.
The annex has a capacity of 200 seats. The head of the city, Grigory Artamonov, checked the progress of the work.
"Despite the tight deadlines, everything is organized clearly, in accordance with the schedule and building regulations," the official said, quoted by the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya.
Currently, builders are equipping internal and external engineering networks, installing facades, roofs, and ventilation. The work is expected to be completed by the beginning of the new academic year.
Earlier it was reported that a new water treatment plant will be built in Podolsk at the Desninsky water intake hub. The area of the facility will exceed 1.7 thousand cubic meters, the height of the water tower will be 23 m.
