A court in the Moscow region arrested a tractor driver who crushed a child to death

A man who ran over a child with a tractor was arrested by a court decision in the Moscow region. This was reported on June 2 in the Main Investigation Department (GSU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for the region.

"The 35-year—old defendant has been arrested by the court until July 31, 2025," the department's Telegram channel says.

Earlier, he was detained in the Dmitrov city district of the Moscow region.

The relationship with the victim was recognized as a mitigating circumstance.

On the same day, the Investigative Committee reported that the suspect, driving a tractor, ran over a child standing next to him. The boy died on the spot from his injuries, after which the man threw the body into the river, where it was later discovered by fishermen.
