A woman was passing nearby at that moment, who managed to quickly get her bearings and run away. The passerby miraculously survived.

The video footage from the scene of the emergency shows that the fragments of the boulders collapsed with an incredible roar and speed. A couple of cars instantly turned into a pile of metal. Alarms went off at nearby cars due to the loud sound.

The prosecutor's office of Chuvashia clarified that the incident occurred in the Vostochny Settlement microdistrict. Two cars were damaged. The agency organized an inspection.

"It was previously established that parts of the brickwork of the parapet fell from the 17th (technical) floor of an apartment building built in 2019, which damaged vehicles located in the courtyard," the regional prosecutor's office said in a Telegram channel.

In April, it was reported that four people were injured as a result of the hurricane in Abakan. The head of the Republic of Khakassia, Valentin Konovalov, reported that roofs of residential buildings and social facilities were partially damaged in Abakan, Chernogorsk and Ust-Abakan district. Tree falls and car damage were also recorded.
