A special fire protection regime has been extended in the Lipetsk region.

The authorities of the Lipetsk region have extended the special fire protection regime in the region. It was introduced from April 23 to June 1, and now it will be valid until September 30.

As the press service of the regional government reminded, during this period it is forbidden to light a fire in the forest, even in mangalas, throw glass, matches, cigarette butts and other flammable objects, and leave garbage behind.

Violators of the regime, depending on the severity of the consequences, will face administrative and criminal liability, GOROD48 writes.

Earlier it was reported that on June 1, a four-day firefighting operation on the territory of the Voronezh Biosphere Reserve in the Usmansky district of the Lipetsk Region ended. At the moment, active gorenje is completely absent.
