Russian military personnel destroyed a heavy unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the Baba Yaga type of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Sumy region. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation published the objective control footage on June 2.

It is noted that the fighters of the North group of forces practice the tactics of tracking down and destroying Ukrainian Baba Yaga-type UAVs in the area of a special military operation.

"Calculations of combat drones of the North group of forces are on duty in the sky around the clock and identify enemy attack drones with a system of dropping mines or firing shots," the ministry said in a statement.

The footage provided by the ministry shows how an FPV drone operator eliminated a Baba Yaga-type UAV with a battering ram in the air.

On May 28, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that the Russian Armed Forces had stopped an attack by Ukrainian Baba Yaga-type drones. According to the agency, one UAV was hit with an accurate shot from small arms with a thermal imaging sight installed, and the remaining ones were eliminated by the operators of FPV drones.
