HC CSKA announced the departure of five players

Goaltender Pavel Khomchenko, defensemen Fredrik Klasson and Christian Yarosh, as well as forwards Stanislav Galiev and Rourke Chartier have left the CSKA hockey club due to the completion of their contracts. This was announced on the team's website on June 2.

"We thank everyone for playing and wish you good luck in your future career," the press service said.

The 32-year-old Klasson played 226 matches for CSKA. He scored 46 (8 goals + 38 assists) points and won the Gagarin Cup in 2023. 29-year-old Yarosh took to the ice in 73 games in two seasons with the Army and scored 15 (2+13) points. He also won the Gagarin Cup in 2023.

Khomchenko, Chartier and Galiev joined CSKA in the 2024/25 season. Khomchenko has six wins in 18 matches, two of which he played to zero. Galiev scored six (4+2) points in 23 matches, Chartier scored 1 (1+0) point in 29 matches.

On May 30, Nizhny Novgorod hockey club Torpedo announced the appointment of Alexey Isakov as the head coach of the team.
