Kia Russia and CIS recalls 55.35 thousand Kia vehicles in Russia. The reason for the service campaign was the risk of a short circuit in the engine compartment, the press service of Rosstandart reported on June 2.

The recall includes Sorento crossovers, Soul hatchbacks and Cerato sedans, which were produced from 2010 to 2016. The VIN codes of cars whose owners need to visit dealers are listed on the agency's website.

Rosstandart reported that these vehicles may have a short circuit on the printed circuit board of the hydraulic electronic control unit (HECU), which is located in the engine compartment.

Specialists at dealerships will have to replace two fuses for free, and correct stickers will be pasted on the fuse box cover.
