A two-year-old girl died in a fall from the ninth floor in Moscow.

A two-year-old girl fell out of an apartment window on the ninth floor of a residential building on Krasny Kazanets Street in the capital's Veshnyaki district, she died in the fall. This was announced on June 2 by the prosecutor's office of the capital.

It is specified that the incident occurred on June 1. The girl was born in 2023.

"The baby was left unattended by adults, made her way to the balcony and fell out of the open window," the agency wrote on its Telegram channel.

The Perovsk interdistrict prosecutor's office is establishing the circumstances of the incident.

On May 19, the Moscow Prosecutor's office reported that a one-year-old girl had fallen out of an apartment window in a residential building located on Polbina Street in the Pechatniki district. The child was in the apartment without his mother's supervision, as a result, he fell out of the window, leaning on a mosquito net.
