The Investigative Committee opened a case on embezzlement of more than 57 million rubles during the execution of the state contract

A criminal case has been opened against Igor Ignatov, Deputy Head of Sales at Delrus LLC, and Alexander Khotsin, Commercial Director of TDA-Service LLC, who are accused of embezzling budget funds during the execution of a government contract. This was announced on June 2 by the press service of the military investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in the Telegram channel.

According to the investigation, in 2022, Delrus and TDA-Service signed a government contract for the purchase and supply of medical equipment totaling more than 100 million rubles. In the same year, the defendants committed embezzlement of funds in the amount of 57 million rubles by overestimating the cost of equipment, and then distributed the money among themselves.

It is noted that Ignatov was given a preventive measure in the form of detention, while Khotsin was placed under house arrest. At the moment, the investigation is ongoing.

Earlier that day, on Sakhalin, the police revealed the theft of about 15 million rubles, which were allocated to improve housing conditions. Three criminal cases have been opened into the incident.
