Pushkov announced the UK's plans to unleash an "ice war" with Russia

The UK authorities plan to wage a long "ice war" with Russia. This was announced on June 2 by the head of the Federation Council Commission on information policy, Alexei Pushkov.
"Britain is planning a long "ice war" with Russia. <...> At the same time, no matter how hard they try, they will not reach the level of the "big geopolitical three" — the United States, Russia and China," he wrote in his Telegram channel.
According to Pushkov, 12 submarines with nuclear weapons in the future make no more sense to London than "the current four semi-rusty ones, two of which are under constant repair."
"However, Prime Minister Starmer really needs them to report to the "collective Soros" who brought him to power <...> and the American military-industrial complex, which will supply the IBRL for these submarines," he concluded.
Earlier in the day, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced the beginning of Britain's preparations for war. He said that the main goal of the British armed forces at the moment is the transition to combat readiness.
