Starmer announced the beginning of Britain's preparations for war

As part of the new defense strategy, the United Kingdom is switching to the "war readiness" mode. This was announced on June 2 by Prime Minister Keir Starmer during the presentation of the strategic review of the country's defense in Glasgow.
"The main goal of the British armed forces is to move to combat readiness. I believe that the best way to prevent conflict is to prepare for it," Sky News quoted him as saying.
Starmer promised that Britain's policy would always be oriented towards the NATO bloc. In addition, the British prime minister said that London would "introduce innovations and accelerate them at the pace of wartime."
"By 2035, the British army will become 10 times more deadly," he concluded.
On June 1, Starmer announced the construction of at least six military factories in the UK. The authorities intend to strengthen the fighting forces and begin the "renewal of the country" by creating new jobs throughout the state. On the same day, The Times newspaper learned that Britain was planning to purchase American fighter jets armed with tactical weapons. According to the newspaper, Starmer has already begun negotiations with the Pentagon on this issue.
