Children's railway started operating in Khabarovsk

The 67th summer season was officially opened on the children's railway in Khabarovsk. More than 650 Far Eastern Railway students, including graduates of Russian Railways reference schools from all over the Far East, will undergo summer internship there. They have been getting theoretical knowledge all year, and now they will be able to apply it in practice.
Yevgeny Veide, head of the Far Eastern Railway, said at the opening ceremony that the railway is a place for the brave and motivated, a place where they can discover their talents and subsequently become sought—after specialists and true professionals.
The children's railway is constantly updating its logistics base, small-line simulators and equipment. Students regularly participate in scientific, technical and creative competitions. This is necessary so that the guys can enroll in industry technical schools and universities, and then come to work for the Far Eastern Railway, IA AmurMedia writes.
Earlier it was reported that four projects from the Khabarovsk Territory will receive support from the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives in the amount of more than 8.6 million rubles in 2025. They became the winners of the foundation's second grant competition. Among them is the large—scale Arsenyev LIVE festival. The project is being implemented by the Eva Cultural Development Foundation with the support of the regional government. This time, the festival will be dedicated to outstanding personalities and events that have become symbols of Russian history, including the explorer Yerofey Khabarov.
