A motorcyclist who was hit and run over by a Rolls-Royce in St. Petersburg the day before is undergoing surgery. The man himself told Izvestia about this.

"I remember that an outsider was holding me. I didn't see the driver at all," Mavlet recalls the incident.

He has already been transferred from the intensive care unit to the trauma department. Mavlet is conscious now, but speaks with difficulty.

The motorcyclist is ready to testify to the police. According to him, the driver of the luxury crossover did not contact him.

The accident occurred on June 1 at the intersection of Peterhof highway and Admiral Tributs Street. A white Rolls-Royce decided to turn around from the right lane through the safety island, as a result of which it hit a motorcyclist moving in the left lane. After the collision, the driver did not stop and ran over the man with the wheels of the SUV.

According to information from social networks, the victim works as a cook and is a member of the Dagestan motorcycle club, participates in various motorcycle races.

On the same day, it was reported that five people, including four minors, were injured in an accident in the Balakhtinsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The circumstances of the incident are being established by juvenile affairs inspectors.
