Sobyanin summed up the results of the qualifying round of the Abilimpix-2025 championship

912 participants reached the finals of the Abilimpix — 2025 Moscow championship, a professional skills competition for people with special needs. This was announced by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin in his Telegram channel.

"Every year, the organizers expand the program and include new professional competencies in it. This time, six areas in demand in the labor market have been added, including laser and blockchain technologies, Astra Linux administration, and others," said the mayor of the capital.

The qualifying stage of the championship took place in May. It was held at 14 city venues. Applications for participation were submitted by over 1,600 specialists from various professions. A total of 65 specialties are being competed in this year's championship. The participants' skills were evaluated by more than 300 experts from different fields. Major employers were also involved in the assessment, which traditionally invite promising participants for internships and jobs after the championship. The winners will be determined in the final in the fall, they will represent Moscow at the Abilimpix - 2025 national championship.
