The Consul General of the Russian Federation in Istanbul announced Turkey's efforts for negotiations between Russia and Ukraine

The situation is not easy, but the Turkish partners are doing everything in their power within the framework of the negotiation process between Russia and Ukraine. This was announced to Izvestia on June 2 by the Consul General of Russia in Istanbul, Andrey Buravov.

"In general, the situation is very difficult, and, accordingly, the preparation here also has its own nuances, we are working within this framework. The Turkish partners are trying to do everything in their power," he said.

At the same time, Buravov clarified that at the moment it is premature to talk about the assessments of the negotiations before the meeting.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan would attend the opening of the talks. He will moderate the meeting.
