- The head of Baikonur announced the launch date of the Soyuz MS-28 spacecraft

The launch of the Soyuz MS-28 manned spacecraft is scheduled for the end of November. This was announced on June 2 by the head of the Baikonur administration Konstantin Busygin.
"Traditionally, manned launches are of the greatest interest. The launch of the Soyuz MS-28 spacecraft is scheduled for the end of November, and we expect, as usual, more than two thousand visitors for the launch of astronauts," Busygin was quoted as saying by TASS.
There will be fewer participants at other launches, which will take place in July, September, and December. It is expected that their number will reach up to 2 thousand.
At the same time, Busygin did not tell about which ships are planned to be launched from the cosmodrome in July, September, December. Despite this, earlier representatives of the rocket and space industry said that it was planned to send the Progress MS-31 cargo ship in July. The first test launch of the Soyuz-5 launch vehicle is expected at the end of December.
On the same day, Russian President Vladimir Putin called the active use of the Baikonur cosmodrome an absolute priority. According to him, it is a symbol of the strategic partnership between Russia and Kazakhstan.
