No cases of Coxsackie virus importation have been recorded in Russia, and the epidemiological situation remains under control. This was reported on June 2 in the press service of Rospotrebnadzor.

"No cases of Coxsackie virus importation have been registered in the Russian Federation. The epidemiological situation in the country is stable and controlled," the ministry's website says.

Rospotrebnadzor reported that the agency's specialists had taken control of reports of mass complaints from Russian tourists due to cases of the Coxsackie virus in southern Turkey.

On May 31, Rospotrebnadzor announced that no imported cases of chikungunya fever had been recorded in Russia. According to the agency, the country has domestic test systems for the rapid diagnosis of this disease. The Perimeter system also operates at border checkpoints, which assesses epidemic risks.
