- Alikhanov stated that there were no requests from foreign companies to return to the Russian Federation.

Foreign companies have not officially applied to return to the Russian market. This was announced on June 2 by the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia Anton Alikhanov at the strategic session of the Russian Retail Week.
"Our market is growing and continues to grow. Western companies are trying to catch these trends, and somehow, probably, retail representatives are discussing this with you in some mode. No one has sent us official requests yet," Alikhanov said.
According to him, now the return of foreign companies is possible only under Russian control, as well as only with the "landing" of technologies in Russia.
In addition, Alikhanov also noted that now Russia does not care whether Western companies return or not, since they have done everything to make Russia independent.
Anatoly Aksakov, head of the State Duma Committee on the Financial Market, said on May 28 that the main condition that must be met for the return of foreign brands to Russia is the interests of the country. He noted that duty or other conditions for foreign companies should be set in such a way that Russian businesses can continue their work and compete with foreign businesses.
