The head of Turkey's National Intelligence Service (MIT), Ibrahim Kalin, may take part in the talks between Russia and Ukraine, which will be held in Istanbul. It is planned that the meeting will be moderated by the head of the Turkish Foreign Ministry, Hakan Fidan. This was announced on June 2 by a TASS source.

"MIT Director Ibrahim Kalyn is also expected to attend the meeting," the statement said.

The meeting of the delegations is scheduled for 13:00 Moscow time. It will be held under the leadership of Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan. It is specified that his speech will also be broadcast live.

On the same day, it was reported that journalists gathered at the gates of the Chirigan Palace in Istanbul, where a new round of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine is expected.
