The Government of the Russian Federation has approved a plan to support the employment of its veterans

The Russian government has approved a plan to support the employment of veterans of the special military operation (SVO). This was announced on June 2 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

"The government has prepared a plan, the implementation of which should help veterans of a special military operation not only find a job, but also increase their skills and competencies or even get a new profession," Mishustin said.

He also added that the authorities will implement the plan together with the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation. According to him, this plan needs to be dealt with proactively, as well as in a short time to resolve any issues that people face.

In addition, the government's Telegram channel noted that this plan has already been approved.

Among the initiatives are a fourfold increase in monthly payments and a reduction in the retirement age.

On May 26, Mishustin announced that Russia had ensured the priority right of ITS participants to medical care and education, as well as the automatic assignment of additional payments for them. The Prime Minister noted that caring for the participants of the SVR and their families is the duty of the federal authorities, which they perform jointly with the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation.
