Irkutsk police warned residents about the appearance of lynx in the city


In the Irkutsk region, locals began to notice a lynx on the streets of the city, and the townspeople were warned against encountering a wildcat. This was announced on June 2 in the main directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region.
"In the Oktyabrsky district of Irkutsk, in the area of Far Vostochnaya and Baikalskaya streets, cases of lynx have been recorded. The beast was also seen on Kievskaya Street," the Telegram channel says.
Police officers reminded that, despite the fact that lynx usually avoids contact with people, meeting it can be dangerous. Therefore, in case of a meeting, you do not need to approach and attract the attention of the animal. You must immediately call the emergency services.
On May 29, a bear attacked a 32-year-old resident of the village of Lenino in the Chuguevsky district of Primorsky Krai, and the victim was hospitalized. It was clarified that the police are conducting a check on this fact. The scene was examined by police officers.
