The Ministry of Defense announced the detention of some participants in attempted attacks on airfields.

Some participants in the attempted attacks on Russian military airfields have been detained. This was announced on June 1 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

They noted that on this day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with FPV drones attacked airfields in the Murmansk, Irkutsk, Ivanovo, Ryazan and Amur regions. It is specified that in the Ivanovo, Ryazan and Amur regions all the raids were repelled.

"There are no casualties among military personnel or civilian personnel. Some participants <...> detained," the department's Telegram channel says.

By its actions, the "war party" wants to disrupt peace initiatives, experts say.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out a drone attack on the Murmansk Region, and air defense systems were involved in their elimination. According to Governor Andrey Chibis, no one was injured as a result of the incident.
