Uralvagonzavod Concern (UVZ) (part of Rostec State Corporation) has sent a batch of T-80BVM tanks to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, which have been improved taking into account the recommendations of participants in the special military operation. This was announced on June 2 by the press service of the concern.
"Thanks to the modernization, its basic combat qualities have increased: firepower, security, mobility and command control," the Telegram channel says.
At the same time, a representative of the manufacturing plant clarified that many engineering solutions in the field of combat missions were involved to enhance the protection of the crew.
It is noted that the engine of the T-80BVM tank withstands low temperatures, accelerates in a straight line at high speed, makes sharp turns and record jumps.
The day before, Rostec spoke about the work on creating a new line of aircraft for the needs of military transport aviation, as well as the transfer of new IL-76MD-90A aircraft to the Russian Armed Forces.
