The Air Defense forces destroyed more than 15 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the Voronezh Region overnight

The air defense forces and electronic warfare systems destroyed at least 15 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the past night The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the territory of the Voronezh region. This was announced on Monday, June 2, by the governor of the region, Alexander Gusev.

"Last night, more than 15 UAVs were detected, destroyed and suppressed by the air defense and electronic warfare forces on duty in three municipalities of the Voronezh Region," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

It is specified that there are no casualties. But as a result of falling UAV debris, several cars were damaged. One vehicle was damaged in Voronezh, Gusev added. Glazing in private houses was also knocked out.

In addition, a high-voltage wire on the M-4 "Don" highway broke when a drone crashed onto a power transmission line. In this regard, a section of the highway was blocked, a detour was organized through Boguchar, the governor informed.

Special services officers are currently working at the scene. Gusev said that the danger mode of the UAV attack has been lifted.
