Over the past day, 32 Palestinians have been victims of Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip, and 200 more people have been injured. This was announced on Monday, June 2, by the press service of the enclave government.

"Israel killed at least 32 Palestinians who were waiting to receive food at two aid distribution points in the Gaza Strip," the Al—Jazeera news agency quoted a statement from the press service.

It is specified that the tanks of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) attacked civilians gathered at the reception point for humanitarian aid in Rafah in the south of the enclave. As a result, 31 Palestinians were killed, and another person was killed in a shooting at another distribution center.

On May 29, the White House announced that Israel had approved the proposal of the US President's special envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, and American leader Donald Trump for a peaceful settlement of the conflict in Gaza. It was clarified that Tel Aviv's consent was received before sending the proposal to Hamas.

On May 31, the Gaza Ministry of Health reported that 60 people were victims of Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip, and another 284 civilians were injured between May 30 and 31.
