Police liquidated a drug laboratory in the Irkutsk region


Employees of the Drug Control Department of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Irkutsk region liquidated a laboratory for the production of synthetic drugs. This was announced on June 2 by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region in the Telegram channel.
"The operatives found an annex in the courtyard, equipped for the production of "synthetics", in which dozens of kilograms of powdery substance were laid out on a table. Empty and liquid-filled containers were also removed from the site...> flasks, scales, containers, cell phones and bank cards," the agency said.
The laboratory for the production of prohibited substances was equipped by a 28-year-old local resident in a private house. At the time of the raid, he was engaged in the manufacture of drugs, so he met law enforcement officers in a specialized suit.
According to the results of the preliminary investigation, the seized substance is a synthetic drug. The total weight of the detected substance was 67 kg.
"On this fact, the investigator of the Main investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Irkutsk region initiated a criminal case under part 3 of Article 30, part 5 of Article 228.1 (attempted crime and illegal production of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues on an especially large scale. — Ed.)," the publication says.
Earlier, on May 29, more than 1 kg of drugs worth 6 million rubles were seized from a resident of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. During the search, the police found and seized a small bag, a package and a metal box with a powdery substance from the man. Another small package of narcotic drugs was found by law enforcement officers during a house search.
