The calculation of the BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) of the Dnepr SF group of forces struck at the temporary deployment points of the assault unit personnel and the control point for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on June 2 by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"Intelligence revealed the movement of personnel of one of the assault units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at night, as well as the take-offs of enemy UAVs. The coordinates were transmitted to the brigade's command post, where it was decided to launch a massive strike using the Grad MLRS calculation by Marine gunners of the 61st Separate Guards Brigade of the Northern Fleet Marines," the department said.

After advancing the set point of fire damage, the calculation set the coordinates of the target and delivered an accurate blow to the concentration of enemy forces. After that, objective monitoring footage in real time confirmed the destruction of the assault platoon and the AFU UAV control center.

After completing a combat mission, the crew quickly and skillfully changes position in order to remain unnoticed and not come under return fire.

On June 1, the Russian Armed Forces launched an attack with the Iskander tactical missile system (OTRK) on the Ukrainian Armed Forces tent camp at the Novomoskovsk training ground in the Dnipropetrovsk region. It is specified that the strike hit units of the 158th and 33rd separate mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian army in the area of the village of Gvardeyskoye.
