The head of the FBI called the incident in Boulder a terrorist attack.


The attack on demonstrators that took place in Boulder, Colorado, was a targeted terrorist attack. This was announced on Sunday, June 1, by the director of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Kesh Patel.
"We are aware of a targeted terrorist attack in Boulder, Colorado, and we are conducting a thorough investigation," he wrote on his page on the social network X.
Patel clarified that agents and local police are already working at the scene.
Earlier in the day, a man attacked participants of a march in memory of the Israeli hostages remaining in the Gaza Strip with Molotov cocktails. At least five people were burned as a result of the attack. Moreover, two were taken to the hospital by a medical helicopter.
