A fire in the passenger compartment of a tram occurred in Vladivostok


In Vladivostok, on June 1, a fire broke out in the passenger compartment of a tram. This is reported by the prosecutor's office of Primorsky Krai in the Telegram channel.
"On June 1, 2025, a fire broke out in the tram cabin at the Borisenko stop in Vladivostok," the publication says.
It is specified that the driver of the transport was able to cope with the fire on his own. At that time, there were nine people in the cabin. No one was injured in the incident.
"The supervisory authority will check the safety of passenger transportation, establish how the vehicle was inspected and how it was released onto the line," the agency said.
A set of response measures will be adopted based on the results of the audit.

In December 2024, seven people were injured in an accident involving two trams in Perm. It is specified that employees of the Municipal Unitary Enterprise Permgorelectrotrans worked on the spot to clarify the circumstances of the incident. The victims received the necessary assistance. After the incident, the movement of routes No. 4, 7, 8, 11 was temporarily suspended.
