In Primorye, the employer did not pay salaries to employees for 500 thousand rubles.

In Primorsky Krai, the director of a security services organization will stand trial for non-payment of wages to eight employees in excess of 520 thousand rubles. This was announced on Monday, June 2, by the Regional Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

A criminal case has been opened against the company's director under Part 2 of Article 145.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Total non-payment of wages for more than two months").

"In the period from May 2024 to May 2025, the accused did not pay salaries to eight employees in the total amount of more than 520 thousand rubles," the department said in a Telegram post.

It is specified that at the same time the employer had the opportunity to make a payment.

As indicated, the investigation of the criminal case has been completed and submitted to the court for further consideration.

On April 17, the Russian Ministry of Labor proposed to expand the definition of labor relations and fix eight additional features in the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. According to the explanatory note, the problem of employers avoiding proper registration of employment relations remains urgent at present.
