Ukraine has submitted to the Russian Federation its own version of the memorandum on the settlement of the conflict. This was stated on June 1 by the head of the Russian delegation at the talks in Turkey, Vladimir Medinsky, in an interview with RT.

At the same time, he noted that the document was submitted in Ukrainian and English.

"It's okay, we did it. Our delegation includes people who know a wide variety of languages. If anything, two are fluent in Japanese," Medinsky said.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on May 28 that Russia was ready to present a memorandum to Ukraine during the second round of negotiations. He expressed the hope that all parties interested in the success of the peace process would provide support for a new round of discussions.

On June 1, Medinsky arrived at an Istanbul hotel before the talks scheduled for June 2. The corresponding footage was shown by Izvestia.
