One person was killed and 12 others injured as a result of a mass shooting in the US state of North Carolina. This was reported by the Associated Press on June 1.
"One person has been killed and at least 12 injured in a mass shooting during a party at an apartment building in western North Carolina," the statement said.
According to local law enforcement officials, one victim is in critical condition, and 10 more people are in hospital in serious condition.
