At a meeting in Istanbul on June 2, the Ukrainian delegation will put forward conditions that largely coincide with the proposals that were put forward last time. This was reported on June 1 by the Reuters news agency with reference to a document developed by Kiev.

"These include the absence of restrictions on Ukraine's military power after the conclusion of the peace agreement," the publication says.

According to the agency, the Ukrainian side will also demand a complete ceasefire for at least 30 days and the return of prisoners. In addition, the Kiev regime will refuse to recognize the territories that became part of Russia.

Earlier, on May 28, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stressed that Russia was ready to present a memorandum to Ukraine during the second round of negotiations.

In addition, on June 1, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the Ukrainian delegation to the talks in Istanbul would be headed by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov. On May 29, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that the composition of the Russian delegation to the talks on Ukraine on June 2 would remain the same as during the previous round. On the eve of the new round of negotiations, the Russian delegation arrived in Turkey.
