The Russian Armed Forces liberated the village of Alekseevka in the Sumy region


The Russian Armed Forces have liberated the village of Alekseevka in the Sumy region. This was announced on June 1 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
In addition, units of the Center group of forces continued to advance into the depths of the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). As a result, the enemy lost more than 510 soldiers in a day.
"The 36D6 airspace surveillance radar and the AN/TPQ-37 counter—battery warfare radar manufactured in the United States were destroyed," the ministry said in a statement.
In addition, tactical aircraft, attack drones, rocket troops and artillery of the Russian army attacked a military airfield, an equipment repair facility, drone production workshops, ammunition depots and temporary positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 149 districts.
The Russian Defense Ministry noted that since the beginning of the special military operation, the Russian Armed Forces have eliminated 36,288 enemy vehicles.
On May 31, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that the Russian Armed Forces had liberated the settlements of Vodolagi in the Sumy region and Novopol in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). 169 aircraft-type drones were also shot down by Russian air defense systems.
