Putin and Pashinyan held telephone talks


Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held telephone talks. The Cabinet of Ministers of Armenia announced this on June 1.
"The Russian President congratulated the Armenian Prime Minister on his 50th birthday and conveyed his best wishes to him. The Armenian Prime Minister thanked the Russian president for the call and good wishes," the ministry's official website reported.
During the conversation, some topical issues on the bilateral and regional agenda were discussed.
"The mutual commitment to comprehensively strengthen relations of strategic partnership and alliance has been confirmed," the publication on the Kremlin's website says.
On the same day, Putin sent congratulations to Pashinyan on the occasion of his 50th birthday. According to the Russian leader, Russia and Armenia have strong friendly ties. He noted that through joint efforts it is possible to achieve further progress in the development of bilateral relations in all areas.
