The media allowed a civil war in Ukraine in case of failure of negotiations

The failure of Ukraine's peace talks with Russia in Istanbul and the extremely difficult situation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the line of contact could lead to the outbreak of a civil war inside the country. This was reported on June 1 by the German newspaper Die Zeit.
"The army risks splitting into groups that will continue to fight against Russia, groups that will surrender, and soldiers who will seek salvation in cooperation with Russia," the publication says.
The authors suggest that as a result of such processes, chaos may begin on the territory of Ukraine. Anarchy, internal conflicts and disintegration into many opposing forces that will fight for power await the country.
According to Die Zeit, this could lead to complete destabilization, and in the event of a civil war, Ukraine risks splitting into "several parts" controlled by various forces.
Bloomberg columnist Mark Champion reported on February 5 that Ukraine would be left with "only bones" if all the allies demanded its resources in return for the assistance provided.
