At the Kievsky railway Station in Moscow, medical workers met the first group of people injured in the collapse of a bridge on a train in the Bryansk region. This was announced on June 1 by the Moscow Department of Health.

"Moscow emergency services are awaiting the arrival of a second train with injured people," the department's Telegram channel said.

The department noted that doctors and psychologists are ready to provide them with the necessary assistance.

The collapse of the bridge with cars on it onto the Klimov– Moscow passenger train happened on the evening of May 31. According to the press service of the Moscow Railway (MZhD), this was due to "illegal interference in the activities of transport." The Moscow Transport Prosecutor's Office has begun an inspection.

According to the latest data, the death toll is seven people. The train driver and his assistant were killed. As a result of the bridge collapse, 47 people were hospitalized, including three children.

Work is underway at the scene of the emergency to dismantle fragments of the bridge and free the railway track from derailed wagons. Specialists are also lifting a cargo truck, which, along with the collapsed bridge, fell onto the train.
