Vilfand spoke about the weather in Russia in June

In June of this year, temperatures close to the annual average are expected in 80% of Russia. This was announced on June 1 by the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand.
"In about 80% of Russia, the temperature background in June will be close to normal," he told TASS.
Vilfand said that temperatures above normal are forecast in some regions of the five federal districts of the country. In particular, in the Northwestern Federal District, abnormally high temperatures are expected in the Murmansk and Arkhangelsk regions, as well as in Karelia, Komi and Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
In the Central Federal District, temperatures above normal will be observed only in the Yaroslavl region. The Volga Federal District will also not remain unchanged: the northern regions, including the Perm, Nizhny Novgorod, Izhevsk and Kirov regions, as well as the northern part of Bashkortostan and part of Tatarstan, will face elevated temperatures.
The scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center said temperatures above normal in the Urals are expected in the Yamalo-Nenets and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrugs, as well as in the Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Kurgan and Tyumen regions.
As for the Asian part of the country, abnormally high temperatures there will affect the Omsk, Tomsk, Kemerovo and Novosibirsk regions, the Altai Territory, the south of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, as well as Khakassia and Tuva.
On the same day, it was reported that residents of the capital region expected short-term rain on June 1 and up to +23 degrees.
