The United States has announced its own conditions for resolving the conflict in Ukraine.

The American side puts forward its own conditions for the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine. This was announced on June 1 by the official representative of the US State Department, Tammy Bruce, as quoted by Fox News channel.

Bruce noted that the parties "were brought to the negotiating table," and now Russia and Ukraine know what demands have been put forward. At the same time, according to her, the further development of the situation will depend on them.

She added that, despite the active position of the American President Donald Trump, the terms of the settlement should be discussed directly between the countries.

There was no response from the Ukrainian side about the agreement to the meeting.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on May 28 that Russia was ready to present a memorandum to Ukraine during the second round of negotiations. He expressed the hope that all parties interested in the success of the peace process would provide support for a new round of discussions.
