The Ukrainian 103rd Air Defense Brigade is suffering heavy losses in the Sumy region after the liberation of the Sudzha border area by Russian troops. This was reported on June 1 in the law enforcement agency.

"Today, the 103rd Air Defense brigade is suffering heavy losses near Vodolagi, Novonikolayevka and Yablonovka," the source told RIA Novosti.

According to the law enforcement agency, the fighting in this area intensified after the liberation of the Sudzha district.

According to the agency's interlocutor, an attempt by the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to strengthen the defense in the area by transferring the 31st border guard from the Chernivtsi region was unsuccessful. Many soldiers surrender to the Russian army.
