Rostec spoke about the work on the creation of a new line of aircraft for the needs of military transport aviation, as well as the transfer of new IL-76MD-90A aircraft to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. This was announced on June 1 in the press service of the state corporation, timed to coincide with the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Russian Military Transport Aviation.

"This year, new vehicles will be delivered to the troops within the framework of the State Defense Order," the state corporation quotes the words of first deputy director Vladimir Artyakov in the Telegram channel.

Rostec clarified that the IL-76MD-90A military transport aircraft, manufactured by the United Aircraft Corporation of Rostec State Corporation, remains the main "workhorse".

"She (IL-76MD-90A. It has received a new engine, an improved wing, modern avionics equipment, and has an increased flight range and payload capacity," Artyakov said.

He also noted that regular deliveries under the state defense order are planned this year, and new superheavy and light class vehicles are being developed in parallel. The company stressed that military transport aircraft are involved in the transfer of personnel and equipment, provide groups of troops in the zone of a special military operation, and are also used in emergency response, including international missions.

On May 26, the press service of the High-Precision Complexes holding (part of Rostec State Corporation) said that the new 9M134 Bulat missile could quadruple the ammunition capacity of an anti-tank missile system due to its weight. It is noted that the Bulat is designed to destroy medium-armored, lightly armored and unarmored vehicles.
